Foreign Ministers of Cyprus and Azerbaijan Discuss Regional Security in Malta.

Nicosia: Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Cyprus and Azerbaijan, Constantinos Kombos and Jeyhun Bayramov respectively, held a meeting on Wednesday in Malta. Kombos, who is in Malta for the Ministerial Meeting of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe, wrote on his account on ‘X’ that he had a comprehensive meeting with the Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the meeting between the two foreign ministers focused on a range of regional and international issues. Kombos expressed the importance of dialogue and cooperation in addressing these matters. He highlighted the significance of such exchanges in fostering mutual understanding and collaboration between Cyprus and Azerbaijan.

Meanwhile, Bayramov shared on ‘X’ that their discussion emphasized broader regional security concerns. He reiterated the necessity of ongoing dialogue to ensure stability and peace in the region. Both ministers acknowledged the value of maintaining open channels of communica
tion and continuing their discussions in future meetings.
