Brussels: Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos will present on Wednesday the priorities of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the European Union to the Committee on Foreign Affairs (AFET) of the European Parliament, alongside Deputy Minister for European Affairs Marilena Raouna.
According to Cyprus News Agency, in the afternoon of the same day, Kombos will present the priorities of the Cyprus Presidency of the Council of the EU on issues related to Development Cooperation and Humanitarian Aid to the Committee on Development (DEVE) of the European Parliament.
On Thursday, the Foreign Minister will engage in the deliberations of the EU Foreign Affairs Council (FAC). The council's agenda includes discussions on Russian aggression against Ukraine, the situation in the Middle East, and developments in the Great Lakes Region. The Foreign Ministers will also have an exchange of views with the United Nations (UN) High Commissioner for Human Rights, Volker Trk.
During his stay in Brussels, Kombos will engage with his counterparts and other officials, facilitating discussions on various international matters.
