Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, predicting variable weather conditions over the next 24 hours. The forecast, effective from 1800 hours on December 2, 2024, until 1800 hours on December 3, 2024, covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards.
According to Cyprus News Agency, a barometric low is anticipated to affect the region, leading to partly cloudy skies. This evening, isolated showers or a thunderstorm are expected, particularly in the western parts of the area. The forecast also indicates that local showers and isolated thunderstorms may occur at times tomorrow, with variable winds and strong gusts during storms.
Visibility in the area is generally expected to be good but may deteriorate to moderate or poor during showers. The sea surface temperature is recorded at 22°C.
