Nicosia: Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos has emphasized the urgent necessity for humanitarian assistance to the civilian population in Gaza during interactions with his counterparts from the wider region.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Kombos, as part of his routine engagements with foreign ministers from the Middle East and Gulf region, initiated contact on Thursday with Palestinian Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Mustafa. Additionally, on Wednesday, he met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Egypt, Dr. Badr Abdelatty, during the 3rd EU-African Union Ministerial Summit.
Kombos engaged in comprehensive discussions with his counterparts regarding current regional developments, with a particular focus on the immediate need to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza’s civilian population.
