ISTANBUL: The US Federal Reserve announced Friday its monetary policy meeting schedule for 2025 and 2026. Next year, the Federal Open Market Committee's (FOMC) two-day meetings will conclude Jan. 29, March 19, May 7, June 18 and July 30. Those will be followed by Sept. 17, Oct. 29 and Dec. 10. In 2026, the FOMC's monetary policy meetings will conclude Jan. 28, March 18 and April 29. They will be followed by June 17, July 29, Sept. 16, Oct. 28 and Dec. 9. In 2027, the first policy meeting will conclude Jan. 27. The FOMC will release a policy statement at 2 p.m. EDT on those dates, and the chair will hold a news conference at 2.30 p.m. EDT the same day. Source: Anadolu Agency
