Extreme Temperatures Recorded Across Cyprus

Nicosia: Cyprus is experiencing a range of temperatures today, with notable variations across different regions.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the Department of Meteorology has reported that Nicosia (Athalassa) recorded the highest temperature of 40°C, with a low of 23°C. Humidity levels in this region were noted to be 20% at 1200 UTC. Meanwhile, Larnaka Airport experienced a high of 35°C and a low of 25°C, with significantly higher humidity at 64%.

In Limassol (New Port), temperatures reached a high of 34°C and a low of 23°C, accompanied by 56% humidity. Pafos Airport recorded temperatures ranging from 23°C to a high of 31°C, with humidity levels at 65%.

Frenaros and Polis Pafos both observed a high of 35°C, with lows of 25°C and 24°C, and humidity levels recorded at 57% and 51% respectively. The coolest area reported was Prodromos, with temperatures between 20°C and 30°C, and a humidity level of 40%.
