Nicosia: The Future Skills Hub at European University Cyprus has announced the initiation of a new cycle of the professional programme 'Clinical Pilates: Certified Therapeutic Exercise within Physiotherapy Practice.' This programme is specifically tailored for physiotherapists and students in the physiotherapy field.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the programme integrates evidence-based theoretical knowledge with practical training, covering a comprehensive range of modern clinical rehabilitation techniques. These techniques span from fundamental movement re-education to specialized interventions such as pregnancy, pelvic floor rehabilitation, and care for older adults. The course is slated to run for 80 hours across five weekends, from October 2026 to January 2027, at the university's state-of-the-art physiotherapy laboratories in Nicosia.
Training within the programme is supported by PIS Fitness, a renowned fitness equipment supplier in Cyprus, known for their expertise in Pilates and gym solutions. Participants will benefit from training on the Align-Pilates R8 Pro Reformer, which is noted for its British engineering and ergonomic design, offering the necessary stability and support in a clinical setting.
Upon successfully completing the programme with at least 75% physical attendance, participants will be awarded an official Certificate of Attendance from the EUC Future Skills Hub. The programme offers flexible enrollment options, allowing participants to choose the comprehensive Full Course or select specific modules tailored to specialized populations.
A variety of discounts are available, including a 10% Early Bird discount for registrations by September 15, 2026, and a 15% discount for full payment of the Full Course fee. EUC students and alumni are eligible for a 20% discount on the Full Course. Flexible instalment options are also offered, although all other programme options require full payment upon registration. It is important to note that discounts cannot be combined.
