Nicosia: ERB ASFALISTIKI, in collaboration with the Department of Labor Inspection of the Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance, and the Cyprus Health and Safety Association (CYHSA), organized a public awareness event at Nicosia Mall on 9 May 2026 to mark World Health and Safety Day. The event aimed at raising public awareness on workplace safety and health issues.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the event featured the distribution of informational material and interactive activities. Special focus was given to the participation of children, who were engaged in creative activities like drawing with themes centered around safety and health, instilling a culture of safety consciousness from an early age.
Representatives from ERB ASFALISTIKI, the Department of Labor Inspection, and CYHSA provided insights into the psychosocial factors affecting workplace health and safety. Symbolic gifts were distributed among attendees, and a live radio broadcast was held at the venue to further amplify the event's message.
The event was conducted under the auspices of the Minister of Labour and Social Insurance, Mr. Marinos Mousiouttas. ERB ASFALISTIKI reiterated its commitment to corporate social responsibility, emphasizing initiatives that foster a culture of prevention and safety in society.
