Nicosia: More than 115,000 inquiries have been addressed by the Digital Assistant of the Deputy Ministry of Research, Innovation and Digital Policy in its initial six months of operation.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the Digital Assistant has been upgraded with new thematic sections, now covering topics such as the Educational Service Committee and Social Integration Services.
“Succeeding six months after its official launch, the Digital Assistant has provided immediate, reliable, and continuous service to citizens-24 hours a day, 7 days a week,” the press release from the Deputy Ministry stated. The Digital Assistant supports inquiries in Greek, English, or Greeklish.
Utilizing artificial intelligence technologies, the Digital Assistant is described as a constantly evolving tool for information and support in citizens’ daily lives. It continues to expand with new topics, facilitating access to information and simplifying the relationship between citizens, businesses, and public administration.

d its access through the gov.cy portal, the Digital Assistant is also available via the ‘Digital Citizen’ app and the General Accounting Office’s new Public Procurement website (www.publicprocurement.gov.cy). Citizens can submit their questions in writing or orally, using the voice submission function.
