Nicosia: The Department of Meteorology has issued a yellow warning for extreme maximum temperatures on Sunday.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the warning will be in effect from 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 12, until 5:00 p.m. on the same day.
The maximum temperature is expected to reach around 40 degrees Celsius over some inland areas. The public is advised to take necessary precautions to stay safe during the period of extreme heat.
