Defence Minister to Meet Greek Counterpart on Tuesday to Discuss Security Issues

Nicosia: Minister of Defence, Vasilis Palmas, announced that he will meet with his Greek counterpart, Nikos Dendias, and Greek General, Demetrios Houpis, on Tuesday, in view of the latest developments in the Middle East and the region.

According to Cyprus News Agency, Palmas shared in a post on X that the meeting will focus on reviewing the events, evaluating the security situation, and examining all appropriate measures to ensure an effective response in any occasion and the protection of citizens.

The meeting highlights the ongoing collaboration between the two nations in addressing regional security challenges. The ministers and the general are expected to discuss strategies that could enhance the safety and preparedness of both countries in light of the evolving situation in the Middle East.
