Brussels: Cyprus Defence Minister Vasilis Palmas travels to Brussels on Monday to take part in the work of the European Parliament's Security and Defence Committee (SEDE) and the Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE), in the context of Cyprus' Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
According to Cyprus News Agency, on January 27, Palmas will brief members of the Security and Defence Committee on the priorities of the Cypriot Presidency in the fields of security and defence.
On January 28, the Defence Minister will participate as a keynote speaker at the European Defence Agency Annual Conference.
On the same day, he will also attend a meeting of the Industry, Research and Energy Committee, where issues related to the link between defence, industry, research and innovation will be discussed.
