Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, indicating that a seasonal low-pressure system is currently affecting the region. The forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards and is valid from 1800 on August 4 until 1800 on August 5, 2025.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1009 hPa. The weather is expected to be mainly fine. However, there will be increased low cloud cover during the night and morning hours, which carries the risk of local mist.
Visibility in the area is generally good but may reduce to moderate or poor levels in misty conditions. The sea surface temperature is noted to be 28°C. No warnings have been issued for the period covered by this forecast.
