Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, indicating that seasonal low pressure is currently affecting the region. The weather is expected to be mainly fine; however, increased low cloud coverage is anticipated overnight and during the morning, particularly affecting the eastern and southeastern coastal areas.
According to Cyprus News Agency, there is a risk of local mist around dawn, which may result in moderate to poor visibility. Despite these conditions, no warnings have been issued for the area. The sea surface temperature remains steady at 28°C, and the atmospheric pressure was recorded at 1010 hPa at the time of the forecast’s release. The report covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards and utilizes the Beaufort scale to measure wind conditions.
