Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released its forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, predicting mainly fine weather for the upcoming period. This forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards and is valid from 0600 on August 12, 2025, until 0600 on August 13, 2025. Local times and the Beaufort scale are used for wind measurements, with atmospheric pressure registered at 1006 hPa at the time of the forecast’s issuance.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the region is currently influenced by seasonal low pressure and a warm air mass, which are contributing to the prevalent weather conditions. While the weather is expected to remain largely fine, there is a potential for locally increased low cloud coverage during the night and early morning hours. Visibility in the area remains good, with sea surface temperatures recorded at 28°C. There are no warnings currently issued for the forecast period.
