Nicosia: Cyprus experienced varied weather conditions today, with temperatures recorded across several regions in the country. The Department of Meteorology provided a detailed report on the weather patterns observed from 20:00 the previous day until the time of release.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the highest temperature was recorded at Polis Pafos, reaching 19°C with a previous reading of 18.7°C. Limassol (New Port) and Pafos Airport were not far behind, both registering a high temperature of 17°C, with Limassol (New Port) previously at 16.5°C and Pafos Airport at 16.7°C. Meanwhile, Larnaka Airport saw a maximum temperature of 16°C.
Nicosia (Athalassa) recorded a high of 14°C, slightly above its previous measure of 13.7°C. In Frenaros, the highest temperature was consistent at 15°C. The coldest region reported was Prodromos, with a maximum temperature of only 5°C, slightly increasing from its previous reading of 4.5°C.
Humidity levels varied significantly, with Larnaka Airport and Frenaros both recording the highest humidity at 91% at 1200 UTC. Pafos Airport followed closely with 88%, while Nicosia (Athalassa) registered 86%. Limassol (New Port) and Polis Pafos both had a humidity level of 66%, the lowest among the stations.
