Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, indicating that the region will experience mainly fine weather, with some local low cloud formations at times.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast period from 1200 on September 4 to 1200 on September 5, 2025, covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards. The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast’s release was recorded at 1005 hPa, indicating a seasonal low pressure affecting the area. This low-pressure system is expected to lead to the development of mist and fog patches later tonight and around dawn, particularly over the southern and eastern coastal areas.
Visibility in the region is generally good, although it may reduce to moderate or poor in mist and very poor in fog conditions. The sea surface temperature is recorded at 28°C, and no warnings have been issued for the period.
