Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast indicating that seasonal low pressure is currently affecting the sea area of Cyprus. The atmospheric pressure at the time of issue was recorded at 1005 hPa (hectopascal). The weather is expected to remain mainly fine, though there will be times when locally increased low cloud coverage is observed.
According to Cyprus News Agency, overnight and during dawn, local mist and/or fog is anticipated, particularly over the southern and eastern coastal areas. Visibility is expected to remain good, but it could become moderate to poor in mist and very poor in fog conditions. The sea surface temperature is recorded at 26°C.
The forecast does not include any warnings for the specified period from 1200 on July 9, 2025, until 1200 on July 10, 2025, suggesting that while the weather conditions may present some challenges, they are not expected to pose significant risks.
