Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued its forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, predicting mainly fine weather conditions for the upcoming period. The forecast, covering the period from midday on December 18, 2025, to midday on December 19, 2025, indicates the influence of high atmospheric pressure in the region.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast's issuance was recorded at 1027 hPa (hectopascal). The weather is expected to remain predominantly fine, though there will be instances of locally increased cloud coverage, particularly over the western and northern areas.
Visibility across the region is anticipated to be good, with the sea surface temperature measured at 21°C. Importantly, no warnings have been issued for the forecast period, suggesting stable and calm weather conditions in the area.
