Nicosia: Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a weather forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, extending 8 kilometers seawards, predicting mainly fine weather but with some local cloudiness and foggy conditions. The forecast is valid from 0600 on June 15, 2025, until 0600 on June 16, 2025.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the region is currently experiencing weak low pressure and a relatively unstable air mass, contributing to the presence of low clouds and fog during nighttime and morning hours. Visibility is expected to remain generally good; however, it will become moderate to poor in areas affected by mist and very poor in areas with fog.
The sea surface temperature is recorded at 23°C, with no warnings issued for adverse weather conditions. Winds in the area are measured using the Beaufort scale, and all times mentioned are local. Atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast’s issuance was noted at 1006 hPa.
