Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area around Cyprus, indicating that the low-pressure system currently affecting the area is gradually weakening. The forecast covers a period from 1200 on February 14, 2026, until 1200 on February 15, 2026, and includes an area extending 8 kilometers seawards.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the weather is expected to be partly cloudy, with local areas experiencing mainly cloudy conditions accompanied by isolated showers. As the evening progresses, the weather is predicted to become mainly fine, although there will be local increases in cloud coverage. Visibility throughout the period is expected to remain good, though it may be reduced to moderate levels during showers.
The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast was recorded at 1005 hectopascals. The sea surface temperature stands at 18°C, and no warnings have been issued for the forecast period.
