Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, specifying conditions for the period from midday on July 23, 2025, until midday on July 24, 2025. The forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards, with predictions based on the Beaufort scale for wind speeds.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of issuing the forecast was recorded at 1005 hPa. The region is currently under the influence of seasonal low pressure and a warm air mass. While the weather is expected to remain mainly fine, there is a possibility of locally increased low cloud during the night and dawn. This could lead to local mist or fog patches, particularly over southeastern areas of Cyprus.
Visibility is generally predicted to be good. However, it may become moderate to poor in areas experiencing mist, and very poor where fog develops. The sea surface temperature is noted to be 27°C. No warnings have been issued for the forecast period.
