Nicosia: Tourism revenue in Cyprus recorded a year-on-year increase of 21.1% in November 2025, according to data released on Thursday by the Statistical Service of Cyprus.
According to Cyprus News Agency, tourism revenue amounted to pound 168.0 million in November 2025, compared with pound 138.7 million in the corresponding month of 2024. For the period January-November 2025, tourism revenue is estimated at pound 3,599.4 million, up 15.3% from pound 3,122.5 million in the same period of the previous year.
As regards expenditure, per capita spending by tourists in November 2025 stood at pound 716.00, marking a decrease of 7.1% compared with pound 771.02 in November 2024. By contrast, average daily per capita expenditure increased to pound 92.99 from pound 86.63, reflecting the shorter average length of stay recorded during the month.
Tourists from the United Kingdom, which remained the largest source market with 22.7% of total arrivals in November, spent an average of pound 87.68 per day, while Polish tourists, the second-largest market with a 13.2% share, spent pound 82.97 per day. Tourists from Israel, the third-largest market accounting for 11.4% of arrivals, recorded the highest average daily per capita expenditure, at pound 168.90.
Based on the data, the highest average daily per capita spending in November 2025 was recorded by tourists from Israel (pound 168.90), followed by visitors from Austria (pound 120.84) and the Netherlands (pound 111.94).
The lowest average daily per capita expenditure was recorded by tourists from Greece (pound 73.15), Poland (pound 82.97) and France (pound 83.36).
