Nicosia: The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) experienced a decline in several of its key indices during today's trading session. Notably, the Main Market Index and the CSE General Index both recorded decreases, affecting overall market performance.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the Main Market Index fell by 3.120%, closing at 210.490. This decline contributed significantly to the traded value, which was reported at 1,018,845.650 euros. Similarly, the CSE General Index saw a reduction of 2.810%, ending the session at 265.120. The overall traded value for the CSE was 1,058,297.04 euros.
The FTSE/CySE 20 Index also experienced a decrease, dropping by 1.570% to settle at 162.180, with a corresponding traded value of 1,053,413.270 euros. In contrast, the Investment Companies Market Index showed a slight increase of 0.350%, closing at 2,752.360 with a traded value of 54,815.340 euros.
The Hotels Index remained unchanged at 1,869.190, with no trading activity recorded. Meanwhile, the Alternative Market Index decreased by 0.940%, closing at 1,828.740, with a traded value of 38,386.270 euros.
