Cyprus Stock Exchange Sees Decline Across All Indices

Nicosia: The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed a decline in its indices during today’s stock exchange meeting. The CSE All Share Index reflected a downturn across various sectors, affecting the overall market performance.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the FTSE/CySE 20 index closed at 147.520, marking a decrease of 0.930%. The traded value for this index amounted to 168,582.410 euros. The Main Market Index also saw a decline, closing at 204.320, down by 0.700% with a traded value of 147,698.430 euros.

The Investment Companies Market Index dropped to 3,086.560, representing a 0.700% decrease, and recorded a traded value of 55,494.540 euros. The CSE General Index closed at 243.970, experiencing a decrease of 0.900%, with a traded value of 169,677.590 euros.

In the sector-specific indices, the Hotels Index fell significantly by 4.600%, closing at 1,276.240 with a traded value of 2,184.060 euros. The Alternative Market Index also saw a reduction, ending at 1,528.010, which is a decline of 1.720%, and recorded a traded value of 23,032.930 euros.

The trading session highlighted a broad decrease across all indices, reflecting a challenging day for the Cyprus Stock Exchange.
