Nicosia: The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) experienced a notable downturn in its indices during today's trading session, with all major indices closing in the red. The CSE All Share Index witnessed a series of declines, reflecting a challenging day for the market.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the FTSE/CySE 20 index fell by 2.860%, closing at 167.460 with a traded value of 2,390,924.900 euros. The Main Market Index also saw a decrease of 3.790%, ending at 223.550 with a traded value of 2,106,786.070 euros.
The Investment Companies Market Index reported a reduction of 2.650%, closing at 2,808.640 with transactions totaling 45,133.010 euros. Meanwhile, the CSE General Index dropped by 3.840%, with its final value at 278.540 and a traded value of 2,406,552.060 euros.
The Hotels Index and the Alternative Market Index also experienced declines. The Hotels Index decreased by 3.620% to 1,909.400 with a traded value of 8,047.800 euros, while the Alternative Market Index fell by 3.420%, finishing at 1,846.990 with a traded value of 300,205.790 euros.
