Cyprus Stock Exchange Records Mixed Performance Amid Varied Index Movements

Nicosia: The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) All Share Index concluded its latest meeting with varied performances across different indices. The trading session saw a total traded value of 270,025.75 euros, reflecting a day of significant market activity.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the FTSE/CySE 20 Index showed a slight increase of 0.070%, closing at 167.800, with a traded value of 267,930.070 euros. The Main Market Index also experienced an upward movement, increasing by 0.190% to reach 226.480, with a traded value of 159,579.920 euros.

The CSE General Index recorded an increase of 0.080%, closing at 276.820, with a traded value of 267,972.490 euros. In contrast, the Hotels Index faced a decline of 0.290%, closing at 1,875.060, with a traded value of 995.380 euros. The Alternative Market Index also experienced a slight decrease of 0.120%, ending at 1,826.130, with a traded value of 109,427.450 euros.

The Investment Companies Market Index remained unchanged at 3,105.630, with a traded value of 74,443.580 euros, indicating stability in that sector. The indices’ performance reflects varied market conditions, with some sectors experiencing growth while others faced declines.
