Cyprus Stock Exchange Records Decline in Market Indices

Nicosia: The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) concluded its latest trading session with a general decline in its indices. The CSE All Share Index experienced a decrease across several sectors, reflecting a drop in investor confidence.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the trading session reported a total traded value of 83,666.89 euros. The FTSE/CySE 20 Index fell slightly by 0.230%, closing at a value of 186,750 with a traded value of 82,392.63 euros. The Main Market Index saw a minor decrease of 0.050%, ending at 249,380 and a traded value of 57,628.75 euros.

The Investment Companies Market Index dropped by 0.350%, closing at 2,744.910 with a traded value of 20,733.04 euros. Similarly, the CSE General Index decreased by 0.220%, reaching a final value of 317,830 with a total traded value of 82,541.43 euros. The Hotels Index remained unchanged at 2,065.200 with a traded value of 998.80 euros. Meanwhile, the Alternative Market Index saw a significant decline of 0.680%, closing at 2,138.820 with a traded value of 25,911.48 euros.

The percentage variations indicate a cautious trading environment, as most indices recorded negative shifts compared to the previous meeting.
