Nicosia: The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) All Share Index closed with varied results at today's meeting. The exchange reported a traded value of 265,378.53 euros, reflecting a range of performances across different market indices.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the FTSE/CySE 20 index saw a minor increase of 0.12%, settling at a value of 186.420 with a traded value of 257,770.29 euros. The Main Market Index also experienced a slight rise of 0.14%, closing at 249.730 and a traded value of 171,699.63 euros. Meanwhile, the CSE General Index mirrored this positive trend, climbing by 0.14% to reach 317.310, with a traded value reported at 258,255.09 euros.
The Investment Companies Market Index remained stable, showing no percentage change, and closed at 2,852.200, with trades valued at 31,058.99 euros. In contrast, the Hotels Index faced a decline, dropping by 0.80% to 1,762.010, with a relatively low traded value of 1,230 euros.
The Alternative Market Index showed a notable increase of 0.33%, closing the session at 2,126.840, with a traded value of 91,248.46 euros. Overall, the stock exchange displayed a blend of stability and growth across its various indices, with certain sectors exhibiting resilience while others faced downturns.
