Cyprus Stock Exchange Experiences Significant Gains in Key Indices

Nicosia: The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed a notable rise in its key indices during today's meeting. The CSE All Share Index demonstrated a strong performance across various sectors, reflecting a day of optimism for investors and traders alike.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the FTSE/CySE 20 Index closed at 164.540, marking a 4.080% increase with a traded value of 1.095.033,520 euros. This index, which is a significant component of the CSE, showed substantial growth, indicating a positive sentiment in the market.

The Main Market Index also recorded a noteworthy rise, closing at 223.340, which is a 6.380% increase, and had a traded value of 998.376,910 euros. This upswing was echoed by the CSE General Index, which saw a 5.670% rise, closing at 280.290 with a traded value of 1.108.894,880 euros.

Further, the Investment Companies Market Index increased by 1.420%, reaching 2.701,020 with a traded value of 56.667,380 euros. The Hotels Index, another key segment, closed at 1.827,540, experiencing a 4.040% increase and a traded value of 1.067,480 euros. Meanwhile, the Alternative Market Index rose by 2.770%, closing at 1.862,290 with a traded value of 111.422,230 euros.

Overall, the day's trading activity culminated in a total traded value of 1.123.590,36 euros, indicating a robust and active market session.
