Cyprus Stock Exchange Ends Day with Positive Gains Across Indices

Nicosia: The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) saw a positive close at its latest meeting, with several indices marking gains by the end of the trading day. The CSE All Share Index concluded the session showing an upward trend, reflecting an optimistic market sentiment.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the FTSE/CySE 20 Index experienced a rise, closing at 187.890 points with a percentage increase of 0.790%. The significant increase brought the traded value to 362,444.73 euros. The Main Market Index also exhibited an upward movement, closing at 251.570 points, which marked a 0.740% increase, with a traded value of 319,717.70 euros.

Investment Companies Market Index saw the highest percentage increase among all indices, climbing 1.350% to close at 2,890.610 points. The trading activity for this index resulted in a value of 36,196.89 euros. The CSE General Index rose by 0.780%, ending the session at 319.770 points, with a traded value of 362,497.82 euros.

Meanwhile, the Hotels Index remained unchanged at 1,762.010 points, with a traded value of 625.20 euros. The Alternative Market Index increased by 1.180%, closing the day at 2,151.940 points and achieving a traded value of 43,405.32 euros.

The positive variations in the indices indicate a stable and favorable trading environment during the session, underscoring investor confidence in the market.
