Cyprus Stock Exchange Closes with Positive Indices Across Most Markets

Nicosia: The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) witnessed a day of growth in its indices as the trading session concluded on September 7, 2026. The CSE All Share Index reported gains across several segments, indicating a buoyant market atmosphere.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the FTSE/CySE 20 Index climbed to 182.400, marking a 1.360% increase and contributing a substantial traded value of 129,394.510 euros. The Main Market Index showed the most notable rise, reaching 247.160 with a 1.670% increase and a traded value of 107,969.420 euros, reflecting strong investor confidence.

The Investment Companies Market Index also saw an uptick, closing at 3.060,950, which represents a 0.950% increase and a traded value of 1,893.750 euros. Meanwhile, the CSE General Index rose to 310.080, a 1.340% increase, with a traded value of 129,432.410 euros, showing consistent growth in the general market segment.

The Hotels Index remained unchanged, closing at 1.975,180, while the Alternative Market Index experienced a slight increase of 0.230%, ending the day at 2.055,820 with a traded value of 21,546.190 euros. The overall traded value for the day stood at 134,017.61 euros.
