Cyprus Stock Exchange Closes with Mixed Results

Nicosia: The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) concluded its recent trading session with mixed results across various indices. The performance of the CSE All Share Index reflected a diverse range of movements in different market sectors as participants navigated the current economic landscape.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the FTSE/CySE 20 Index experienced a slight decrease, closing at 188.720, which marked a 0.020% decline, with a traded value of 677,119.940 euros. The Main Market Index also saw a decrease, closing at 252.450, representing a 0.050% drop, with a traded value of 178,613.490 euros.

Conversely, there was a positive movement in the Investment Companies Market Index, which rose by 0.340% to finish at 2,850.540, with a traded value of 10,057.400 euros. The CSE General Index mirrored the trend of the FTSE/CySE 20, showing a decrease of 0.020%, closing at 321.200, with a traded value identical to the FTSE/CySE 20 at 677,119.940 euros.

The Hotels Index remained unchanged, maintaining its position at 1,836.190 with no traded value recorded. Meanwhile, the Alternative Market Index saw a modest increase of 0.210%, closing at 2,165.670, with a significant traded value of 498,506.450 euros.
