Cyprus Stock Exchange Closes with Mixed Results

Nicosia: The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) All Share Index concluded today’s trading session with a variety of outcomes across different indices. The trading activity saw fluctuations with some indices closing in the red, while others experienced slight gains.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the FTSE/CySE 20 Index registered a decrease of 0.680%, closing at a value of 169,320 with a traded value of 530,325.760 euros. Similarly, the Main Market Index also faced a decline, closing at 227,270, which is a decrease of 0.780%, with a traded value of 161,567.180 euros.

The Investment Companies Market Index saw a minor dip of 0.240%, ending the session at 3,138.140 with a traded value of 48,459.290 euros. The CSE General Index mirrored the decline of the FTSE/CySE 20, also dropping by 0.680% to close at 279,220 with the same traded value as the FTSE/CySE 20.

Conversely, the Hotels Index was the only index to close positively, with a rise of 0.460%, achieving a value of 1,899.470 and a traded value of 1,270,000 euros. The Alternative Market Index experienced a slight decrease of 0.300%, closing at 1,866.110 with a traded value of 368,758.580 euros.
