Nicosia: The Cyprus Stock Exchange (CSE) concluded its trading session with varied movements across its indices. The overall performance of the stock market showed slight gains and losses in different sectors, reflecting a day of mixed trading.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the FTSE/CySE 20 Index experienced a modest increase of 0.980%, closing at 184.730 with a traded value of 274,626.920 euros. The CSE General Index also recorded a rise, ending the session at 314.310, marking a 0.960% gain with a similar traded value of 274,721.670 euros.
Conversely, the Main Market Index saw a small decline of 0.210%, closing at 246.330 with a traded value of 142,086.180 euros. The Investment Companies Market Index fell by 0.990%, closing at 2,890.310 with a value of 5,023.870 euros. Meanwhile, the Hotels Index remained unchanged at 1,762.010, with no trades recorded.
The Alternative Market Index outperformed other indices, registering a significant increase of 4.020%, closing at 2,142.380 with a traded value of 132,635.490 euros. Overall, the total traded value for the day on the Cyprus Stock Exchange amounted to 275,724.87 euros.
