Shanghai: The Ministry of Energy, Trade and Industry of Cyprus, through its Trade Center in Beijing, participated in the 8th China International Import Expo in Shanghai from November 5 to 10, 2025. The event served as a strategic platform for Cyprus to promote its national products and foster trade connections with China and other nations.
According to Cyprus News Agency, Cyprus’ presence at the expo was a valuable opportunity to highlight its offerings and position itself as a key player in international trade. The Cyprus pavilion attracted a significant number of foreign consumers, business professionals, traders, and officials, who explored the quality of Cypriot products and the benefits of Cyprus as a global business hub.
The Ministry noted that in a bid to boost the recognition and export potential of Cypriot products, visitors to the pavilion were treated to samples of Cypriot wines, which have already made their mark in the Chinese market.
The China International Import Expo, established in 2018, is a premier international trade fair in China. This year’s edition featured 4,108 companies from 155 countries and regions, drawing in over 450,000 professional visitors, as highlighted in the press release.
