Berlin: The Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry of Cyprus, in collaboration with the Cyprus Trade Centre in Berlin, participated with a national pavilion at the international fruit and vegetable fair 'Fruit Logistica 2026', held in Berlin from February 4-6, 2026. This event provided Cypriot companies with an opportunity to promote their products, network, explore new market trends, and engage with key stakeholders in the sector.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the exhibition, recognized as a leading event in the industry, featured over 2,600 exhibitors from more than 90 countries. Seven companies from Cyprus, involved in the production and trade of agricultural products, were present, showcasing mainly Cypriot potatoes, vegetables, fresh herbs, and citrus fruits. Cypriot businesses maintained a strong presence at this global industry platform, which attracted commercial interest and highlighted the entire fresh-produce production and supply chain.
As outlined in the announcement, the ultimate goal of the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry is to ensure that Cypriot businesses continue to access the global market. Through its participation in 'Fruit Logistica 2026,' the Ministry demonstrated tangible support for efforts to expand internationally.
