Cyprus Shipping Ministry Launches 1-Stop-Shop Portal for Maritime Services

Nicosia: The Cyprus Shipping Deputy Ministry (SDM) has officially launched the Cyprus Shipping 1-Stop-Shop Portal (CYSh1P), a new digital platform aimed at modernizing and streamlining maritime services offered by the SDM. This centralized portal is designed to provide stakeholders in the maritime industry, such as shipowners, lawyers, and seafarers, with easy access to a wide range of services.

According to Cyprus News Agency, CYSh1P offers services that include ship registration, technical transactions regarding safety and environmental matters for Cyprus-Flagged Vessels, and seafarer training and certification. The platform also facilitates transactions related to the Tonnage Tax System and services for small and high-speed vessels. The release of these services will occur in phases, with the first set of eServices having been launched on October 14, 2025.

The initial eServices of CYSh1P allow users to submit applications for various certificates and endorsements related to seafarers. With this launch, the previous eSAS platform has been discontinued, rendering it no longer available for new applications. Users interested in accessing the new portal must register and enroll in relevant services, with Cyprus-registered companies required to use their CY Login accounts. Foreign companies have the option to register directly through the CYSh1P portal.

A detailed user guide is available on the CYSh1P platform, providing step-by-step instructions for registration, profile creation, and service enrollment. The SDM emphasizes its commitment to enhancing the efficiency and transparency of Cyprus’ maritime services through this digital innovation, aiming to provide stakeholders with a seamless experience.
