Cyprus Shipping Deputy Minister Engages in Strategic Visits to Athens and Alexandria

Athens: Shipping Deputy Minister, Marina Hadjimanolis, is traveling to Athens on Wednesday for a working visit.

According to Cyprus News Agency, Hadjimanolis will participate in the "16th Annual Capital Link Greek Shipping Forum", engaging in a Ministerial roundtable discussion alongside Greek Minister of Maritime and Insular Policy, Vassilis Kikilias, Malta's Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Public Works, Chris Bonett, and the US Deputy Under Secretary for Transport, Marco M. Sylvester.

During the conference, Hadjimanolis is scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with her counterparts from Greece, Malta, and the US. She will also deliver a speech at the graduation ceremony of Merchant Marine Officers at the Mediterranean Maritime Academy in Athens. The Deputy Minister aims to strengthen ties and further promote the Cyprus Ship Registry through these engagements with international representatives and shipping companies.

On the following Saturday, Hadjimanolis will journey to Alexandria as an honorary guest of Egypt's Minister of Transport. She will participate as a keynote speaker at the 15th International Maritime Transport and Logistics Conference (MARLOG-15). While in Alexandria, the Deputy Minister plans to conduct bilateral meetings with Egypt's Minister of Transport and other international Ministers attending the event, as stated in the press release.
