Nicosia: Cyprus is experiencing a range of temperatures across its cities, with notable differences in both highest and lowest temperatures recorded at various weather stations today. The Department of Meteorology has provided detailed insights into the weather conditions across the region.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the highest temperature recorded was 20 degrees Celsius in Nicosia (Athalassa), Larnaka Airport, and Polis Pafos. In contrast, the lowest temperatures were observed in Prodromos, where the mercury dropped to 1 degree Celsius. Humidity levels varied significantly, with Prodromos recording the highest at 98%, while Nicosia (Athalassa) had the lowest at 43%.
Larnaka Airport and Limassol (New Port) also reported significant humidity levels at 69% and 82%, respectively. Interestingly, Limassol Garden recorded a slightly lower highest temperature of 18.5 degrees Celsius compared to other regions. Meanwhile, Pafos Airport and Frenaros reported similar conditions, with both experiencing a highest temperature of 19 degrees Celsius and a lowest of around 10 degrees Celsius.
These temperature variations highlight the diverse climatic conditions across Cyprus, as monitored by the Department of Meteorology.
