Cyprus Sees Varied Temperature Ranges Across Regions

Nicosia: The latest weather report illustrates a range of temperatures across Cyprus, highlighting significant differences between various regions. The data indicates notable temperature variations from urban centers to coastal areas, providing insight into the diverse climate experienced across the island.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the Department of Meteorology has recorded that Nicosia (Athalassa) experienced a high of 17°C, with temperatures dropping to a low of 3°C. The humidity level in the capital was registered at 46% at 1200 UTC. Meanwhile, Larnaka Airport reported a high temperature of 18°C and a low of 8°C, with humidity recorded at 53%.

In Limassol, the New Port area saw a peak temperature of 19°C, with the lowest recorded at 6°C, and a humidity of 53%. The Limassol Municipal Garden recorded a slightly lower high at 18.9°C and a low of 6.1°C, indicating a consistent climate within the city.

Pafos Airport experienced a high of 18°C and a low of 8°C, with a relatively higher humidity level at 62%. Frenaros also recorded a high of 19°C, with a low of 6°C and humidity at 51%. In the mountainous region of Prodromos, temperatures varied more significantly, with a high of 7°C and a low dipping to 0°C, accompanied by the highest humidity recorded at 73%.

Lastly, Polis Pafos reported a high of 19°C and a low of 9°C, with humidity at 58%, exemplifying the warmth typical of coastal areas. This data provides a comprehensive overview of Cyprus's weather conditions, reflecting the unique climate patterns across different areas of the island.
