Cyprus Sea Area Weather Forecast: Seasonal Low Pressure and Warm Air Mass Impacting Conditions

Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, covering an 8-kilometer radius from the coast. The forecast is valid from 1200 hours on July 27, 2025, to 1200 hours on July 28, 2025. During this period, the area will experience the effects of seasonal low pressure combined with a warm air mass, resulting in mainly fine weather conditions.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast indicates an increase in low cloud cover and the development of local mist and fog patches during the overnight and dawn hours. These conditions are expected to reduce visibility from good to moderate or poor in mist, and potentially very poor in areas of fog.

The sea surface temperature is currently at 27°C, and atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast’s issuance was recorded at 1001 hectopascals. Despite the presence of low pressure and warm air, no warnings have been issued for the sea area during the forecast period.
