Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, predicting mainly fine weather conditions for the next 24 hours. The forecast, which covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards, indicates that weak low pressure is currently influencing the region.
According to Cyprus News Agency, atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issuance was recorded at 1010 hPa. During the day, the weather is expected to remain mostly clear, although an increase in medium and high cloud coverage may occur tonight. Visibility across the sea area is reported to be good, with sea surface temperatures measuring 19°C.
The forecast also confirms that there are no warnings in effect for the specified period. Winds in the region are measured using the Beaufort scale, and all times mentioned in the report are local.
