Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has released its forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus, predicting mainly fine weather conditions for the specified period. The forecast covers a distance of 8 kilometers seawards and is applicable for the period from 1800 on 22nd May 2025 to 1800 on 23rd May 2025.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast’s issuance was recorded at 1012 hPa, indicating weak high pressure affecting the area. The weather is expected to remain stable with no significant disturbances. Visibility in the forecast area is expected to be good, providing favorable conditions for maritime activities.
The sea surface temperature is recorded at 22°C, which is typical for this time of year. There are no warnings issued for the forecast period, suggesting that the conditions at sea will be relatively calm. Winds are measured on the Beaufort scale, but no significant changes are anticipated during this period.
