Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area surrounding Cyprus. For the period from 1200 on 16th October 2025 until 1200 on 17th October 2025, the weather is expected to be mainly fine with no warnings issued.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards. The atmospheric pressure at the time of the forecast issue was noted to be 1016 hectopascals, indicating weak low pressure influencing the area. Despite this, visibility is expected to remain good and the sea surface temperature is recorded at 26°C.
The absence of any warnings suggests favorable conditions for maritime activities during the forecast period. This update serves as a reassurance to those planning to engage in sea-related activities around Cyprus.
