Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus, predicting mainly fine weather conditions for the period from 0600 on July 27, 2025, until 0600 on July 28, 2025. The forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards from the coastline and is based on the BEAUFORT scale for wind measurement. The current atmospheric pressure is recorded at 1001 hPa.
According to Cyprus News Agency, the region is currently experiencing the effects of seasonal low pressure combined with a warm air mass. Although the weather is expected to remain mainly fine, there will be increased low cloud and the possibility of local mist with fog patches during the overnight, dawn, and early morning hours, particularly over the southern and eastern parts of the area.
Visibility in the region is generally good but may reduce to moderate or poor conditions in mist, and become very poor in areas affected by fog. The sea surface temperature is currently recorded at 27°C. The department has not issued any warnings for the forecast period.
