Cyprus Sea Area Forecast Predicts Cloudy Weather and Isolated Showers

Nicosia: The Cyprus Department of Meteorology has issued a forecast for the sea area of Cyprus for the period from 1200 on February 24, 2026, to 1200 on February 25, 2026. The forecast covers an area extending 8 kilometers seawards and is measured using the Beaufort scale for winds. The current atmospheric pressure is noted at 1016 hPa.

According to Cyprus News Agency, a weak high-pressure system is temporarily affecting the region. This afternoon, there will be locally increased cloud coverage, with a risk of isolated showers, particularly over the southeastern coasts. The weather is expected to gradually become partly cloudy and then mainly cloudy in some areas, with isolated showers occurring at times tomorrow.

Visibility in the region is generally good but may become moderate during showers. The sea surface temperature is recorded at 18°C. There are currently no warnings issued for the sea area of Cyprus.
