Nicosia: Cyprus Foreign Ministry paid tribute to the victims of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks in the United States, marking 24 years since the tragedy that claimed thousands of lives.
According to Cyprus News Agency, in a message on X, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Cyprus remembers “the thousands of innocent victims, the first responders, and all those whose lives have been affected in the most horrific way.”
The Foreign Ministry added that in honouring their memory, Cyprus “reaffirms its determination to stand together with the United States in the continuous fight against terrorism in all its forms.”
