Mumbai:Cyprus participated in the Anuga Select India 2026, an international food and beverage trade show held from September 29 to October 1, 2026, at the Bombay Exhibition Centre.

According to Cyprus News Agency, the Ministry of Energy, Commerce and Industry, through the Cyprus Trade Center in New Delhi, highlighted the quality of Cypriot food and beverage products at the event. The exhibition aimed to open new channels of communication and cooperation with Indian businesses.

Attendees including distributors, retailers, importers, and representatives from the hospitality and catering sectors were introduced to Cypriot products, with a special focus on traditional halloumi cheese. The cheese was showcased through tastings and live culinary demonstrations.

Additionally, a Halloumi Masterclass was organized in collaboration with the Cyprus Trade Centre and the EU pavilion. This event featured the well-known chef Altamsh Patel and emphasized the tradition, quality, and versatility of halloumi cheese.

The Ministry noted that participation in Anuga Select India 2026 is part of ongoing efforts to enhance export opportunities for Cypriot businesses.
