Cyprus President to Meet Lithuanian Counterpart in Vilnius

Vilnius: President Nikos Christodoulides has concluded his official visit to Latvia and is now en route to Vilnius, Lithuania, as part of his tour of the Baltic states. This tour is in preparation for Cyprus’s upcoming EU Presidency during the first half of 2026.

According to Cyprus News Agency, President Christodoulides is scheduled to meet with Lithuanian President Gitanas Nauseda on Friday morning at the Presidential Palace. The agenda includes a private meeting between the two leaders, followed by press statements and a working lunch.

Later in the day, President Christodoulides will depart for Tallinn, Estonia. Accompanying him on this diplomatic journey are Deputy Minister for European Affairs Marilena Raouna, Deputy Government Spokesperson Yiannis Antoniou, and other state officials.
